St. Lucia has beautiful beaches like the other islands but this day, we decided to do a personal tour of the island instead.
We had our own driver, Chester (first photo), who would take us anywhere we wanted to go for the day. After making several stops along the steep, VERY winding road atop the coastal mountains for pictures, we headed towards the Sulfur Springs Mud Baths (perfectly heated by the world’s only drive-in Volcano in Soufriere)!
We had a blast!! – and I am still wondering how Becky convinced me to do this!!

Checklist:
- Mud fight, lol
- Laugh hysterically
- Cover each other with mud from head-to-toe
- Exfoliate your pores with volcanic minerals
- Wash it all off in the 110 degree hot springs
- Caution: Sulfur smells, lol. You wash it off but… poor Chester
- The whole experience is absolutely worth the 1 hour car ride from the cruise port!!!
